We are happy to sell the Camper and Truck together or just the camper. (We won’t sell just the truck until the camper is sold.) Asking $28K for the Combo / $14K for the Camper / $15K for the Truck.
We had the camper professionally mounted to the truck at Mule Expedition Outfitters. It drives great, whether on the highway or climbing a steep rocky road.
THE CAMPER - This is a 2004 Hawk shell that was sweetly and thoughtfully built out by the previous owner to be both comfy and practical. It features a pull-out queen bed, couch that folds down into another bed, sink, hot water heater, 2-burner stove, 12 volt Isotherm fridge, propane tank, Fantastic ceiling fan, CO2 detector, large side awning as well as awning over the door, multiple outlets and lots of storage! It has a cord for plugging in to shore power as well as a 7-pin for charging via the truck. The pop-up vinyl siding is in great condition, with no leaks. It also comes with a custom made thermal lining insert for colder conditions. The Hawk is meant to fit trucks with 6-8’ beds. It comes with four mechanical jacks for lifting the camper on and off of the truck and ours have wheels that can make moving the camper around on a flat surface a lot easier. This has no water tank in order to save weight, which it does well. This puppy’s original weight was only 695 lbs so guessing it’s still only around 900 with the build out. We used a 5 gallon Wavian water can with a spigot next to the sink when dry camping and it worked great. Also of note is that we added 3 rows of pressure treated 2x4 “boosters” to the bottom of the camper to raise it up enough to clear the sidewalls of the F150. I think this also helped to keep the camper from sliding around in the bed. These are simple to unscrew and remove if so desired. Finally, we did have an unwelcome visit from some mold on the wood of one of the support panels and on the pull-out bed platform from some condensation when we left the camper popped down for a little too long during this damp Pacific NW winter of ours. We killed the mold, sanded it down a little and used stain on it to try and match that on the rest of the wood but it still appears darker in those spots (see pics). We haven’t had any issues with mold since. Overall we have loved this adventure rig for its ability to take our little family anywhere on or off road we want to go with a low weight and profile. (FWC Statement of Origin, manuals and receipts available.)
THE TRUCK - The truck is a 2013 F150 XLT SuperCrew 4x4 EcoBoost 3.5L V-6 with 6.5’ bed, 148K mi’s and off road as well as tow package and skid plates. It has nice big E-rated tires with lots of wear left on em. MPG 16/22 with a 36 gallon tank, which is nice for exploring off the grid. This truck is a pleasure to drive. Engine runs super smooth and with plenty of power even with the camper and going up steep ascents. When it doesn’t have the camper on it, it has a nice hard UnderCover Tonneau cover with lock and key, as well as rear camera. Truck is super clean and comfy. The roomy back seat is great if you have kids and if you don’t it makes for great cargo space with the seats folded up. Weathertech floor mats in front and back! Professionally installed eyebolts in truck bed for attaching the camper via turnbuckles. VIN# 1FTFW1ET2DFB91392 (Receipts and Carfax available.)
