Synopsis
You'll Never Get Out Alive!
The Moreau Family travel around the UK putting on an underground variety show for an adult audience. But behind the curtain there is something more sinister going on than simple entertainment.

what did I just see?
I clearly wasted my time. it was just deeply boring and uninteresting. I couldn't even finish the film because the direction and direction were so catastrophic. I'm not even talking about the script, it was ridiculously poorly written.
the way the movie was edited and shot felt like anything but a movie. it looked like a vulgar parody.
the actors weren't even convincing. really, I wasted my time watching this film.

Any knock off of THE DEVILS REJECTS will always have me intrigued but boredom well and truly set in when I entered the shabby circus of THE THEATRE OF FEAR. I feel bad as there is love on show here, the director/writer Andrew Jones attempts to put together a solid script but it appears too much for him to take on with the budget and cast at his disposal. For most of the movie it feels like nothing happens and when it does, the lack of any build up hurts each big scene tremendously.

I don't even know what the actual f*ck this was trying to prove, it can be found in a Poundland store for f*ck sake, you know.
I just find it absolutely pathetic as to why sh*t even is ever given the energy to be created. How does this movie find a director? What about even a writer? and to be honest what even about a cast? These questions will never get answered because there is always an idiot who throws themselves into mindless crappy bullsh*t like this, it's not really worth hating on it anymore cause it's atrocious and vile and just utter crap. -

this was nice, there was a subplot about a violently sexual ventriloquist dummy mentally abusing his puppeteer à la robbie shapiro and there was a clown that became an incel. the joy of cinema keeps me going every day

Halloween Horror 2014 No.26
I had never heard of this film until I subscribed to Scream magazine and they sent me it as a free gift.
Erm, thanks Scream magazine!
UK horror with a murderous carnival family who move from place to place killing randoms then moving on.
A bounty hunter is paid to sort them out and then ..... we are somehow supposed to root for them against the guy who is helping a bereaved parent of one of their victims!!!! Exactly what the Devil's Rejects expected us to do and root for the murderers. Well, no ta!

Yet another stunning performance by Andrew Jones. What a banger of an intro/out to song. Fading transitions were also a masterclass

I love the American talent agent living in rural Wales, headhunting ventriloquists for satellite TV
EDIT: I just read Andrew Jones died earlier this year! A bit of a shock, only 39 years old. I can’t say I’ve enjoyed any of his films, and I watch them mostly out of ironic amusem*nt, but he made more films than I ever have or ever will. I applaud him for that.
