Kingston Albion Resource Defense Sterile Land Kuiper Mine Blockade Repeat Missions After Clear |
Kingston Albion Resource Defense
Kingston Albion Resource Defense is the Special Operation mission that becomes available in Kingston after defeating Greg in the Main Quest. In this mission, your objective is to defend an object against several waves of enemies.
After the 7th wave, you receive extra rewards, such as gold and Amorphous Materials, and have the option to either abort or continue the mission. Participating in this Special Operation is a great way to farm XP early game!
Sterile Land Kuiper Mine Blockade
Sterile Land Kuiper Mine Blockade is the Special Operation mission that becomes available in Sterile Lands right before or during the Mysterious Attraction Main Quest.
Unlike in Kingston Albion Resource Defense, you have to defeat several enemies around drilling mines and fight a miniboss every 2 waves. This is a higher level Special Operation and with the amount of enemies around, leveling up is even faster.
Repeat Missions After Clear
Replaying cleared missions is an effective method to earn additional XP in The First Descendant. By revisiting completed missions, you can accumulate experience points to level up your character.

Clear Hard Mode Dungeons Block Kuiper Mining in Sterile Lands Fallen Ark Void Fragment |
Clear Hard Mode Dungeons
With the recent 1.1.0 patch, EXP rewards from repeatedly completing Hard Mode missions has been exponentially increased. Currently, the best missions to run for Descendant EXP is to finish Magister's Lab or Biolab with Bunny.
If you are running solo, Magister's Lab is the most efficient way to level up your Descendants alone quickly. However, Bio Lab will net you tons more EXP than Magister's Lab if you have teammates to play with!

Block Kuiper Mining in Sterile Lands
If you need to also level up your weapons, clearing Block Kuiper Mining in Sterile Lands 4-5 times will quickly level up your firearms to max level. Not only do you efficiently level up your weapons here, you can also gain Gold, Kuiper Shards, and Amorphous Materials you can open!

Fallen Ark Void Fragment
For players already in Hard Mode, the best way to farm XP is to do and repeat the Fallen Ark Void Fragment Mission. This Void Fragment will require a descendant with the Electric Attribute, so make sure to bring Bunny, Ultimate Bunny, or Sharen to activate it.
This is also best done in multiplayer, so enter the Fortress in public mode to join players already farming XP in this area. If you want to farm XP for non-electric descendants, just make sure to visit the place from time to time since there's always a chance that a Bunny is activating it for farming!

How to Gain XP
Defeat Enemies
One of the methods for gaining XP is to simply defeat enemies. The more enemies you defeat, the more XP you gain, allowing you to level up your Descendants efficiently.
Complete Quests
You can also gain XP by doing main quests and subquests. However, the XP gained from these quests is quite small, but it serves as a good bonus for completing them.
Main Quest Walkthrough
You Can Gain XP Without Defeating Enemies on Multiplayer Modes
Additionally, if you're doing quests with strangers in multiplayer modes, you also get XP from their defeated monsters or enemies. This means that even if you pause for a while, as long as they are still actively defeating enemies, you will still get XP.

How to Get More XP
Activate a Descendant XP Boost
You can use a Descendant XP Boost to get a 30% increase in your XP gain. Descendant XP Boosts were recently given away for free as part of the compensation rewards from a recent server maintenance, so you can use that to gain XP!
Otherwise, you can purchase them in the shop for 175 - 575 Caliber, depending on the duration.
Equip External Components
Some external components can influence your XP gain as well. This passive is quite rare on some external parts, so make sure to farm until you get one that provides an XP boost.
Benefits of Leveling Up
Unlock Descendant Skills
Leveling up is the only way to unlock skills for your Descendants. So if you want to access all the skills of your Descendant, make sure to keep farming XP until you gain enough to unlock all their skills.
Increases Stats
Leveling up also allows you to gain Max HP, Maximum Shield, Max MP, Defense Power, and Shield Recovery. So if you want to maximize your Descendants, make sure to keep leveling them up to make them powerful!
Helps in Gaining Mastery XP
Finally, if you want to gain more XP for your Mastery Rank, make sure to keep progressing and gather enough XP to level up! Not only does this level up your Descendants but also increases your Mastery Rank XP!
