AMEX Hilton Honors Card (2024)

I was wanting this card for the free night + the free 70,000 points so I was approved for $10,000 (no HP) which was great, but they pulled $10,000 off of my Blue Cash Preferred card and left that card with a $15,000 limit, that kind of shocked me... Does this mean im at my limit with Amex or something? I still show a pre approval for the Gold, Platinum and aPersonal loan up to $25,000. This is my second card with Amex if that matters.

I don't know... Maybe you're at some sort of internal limit. Maybe you've just not been utilizing enough of that $25k BCP every month and their algorithms said 'Hey, wait a minute, here's a solution. Now we can continue to throw the Gold, Platinum, and personal loan at him'

@CardHunterIt's definitely something not isolated to Amex. Congrats on the card. At least now you have two cards to grow. And since Amex is so great with SP CLIs, you should be able to grow both.

That is a great point and I totally agree. Amex has been really good to me over the past 2 years.
