The expansion of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak introduces a range of new key and optional quests to continue the storyline from MH Rise. These new quests can be accessed after unlocking your hunter rank cap, giving you the chance to take on Master Rank quests and visit new locations. How to Start MH Rise: Sunbreak and Unlock Master Rank
Sunbreak Monster List in Monster Hunter Rise
In order to access the content for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, you'll need to be Hunter Rank 7 and have completed the Seven Star Urgent Quest: Serpent Goddess of Thunder that's part of the Gathering Hub Key Quests. After doing this, you'll be able to interact with Rondine the Trader at the Village Entrance who will initiate the Sunbreak questline.
Before you can depart to the new locales that have been introduced into Sunbreak, you'll need to take on Urgent Quest: Uninvited Guest, which asks you to Hunt a Daimyo Hermitaur. Completing this quest will initiate a short cutscene and unlock access to the Elgado Outpost, where the Sunbreak expansion really begins.
When you depart for Elgado Outpost, access to Kamura Village will be temporarily disabled. Once you complete Switch Skill training and unlock Master Rank quests, you will be able to open a world map that lets you travel back.
When you reach Elgado, you'll participate in quick Switch Skill training and then, you can take on Master Rank Key Quests from Chichae the Quest Damsel.
As these quests are assigned in conjunction with Kamura Village, you'll also be able to continue picking up the quests from the Gathering Hub there.

1-Star Master Rank Key Hub Quests
The first set of quests you'll be given encourages you to explore the new Jungle map. You can choose from any two of the following 1-Star Master Rank quests to complete, in order to progress and unlock 2-Star Master Rank Hub Quests.
- Make sure to unlock the Jungle Buddy Recon Locations (Sub-Camps) <meta /> so you can fast travel!

Urgent Quest: Proof of Courage
This urgent quest tasks you to take on the final boss in MH Rise: Sunbreak.
Finishing the storyline will unlock your Master Rank Cap and a new set of 6-Star Master Rank quests for you to take on, plus new quests at different levels, too. At Master Rank 10, a new urgent quest will unlock.
